A Danish 7-M comes to life in the rain

I was in Copenhagen for what must be one of the last Thursday night races of the season for the owner of classic 7-Metre Victoria - Vidar Illum.
He was kind enough to have me aboard for a quick beat around the cans in his newly restored yacht, which used to belong to his grandfather.
It took four years of painstaking work to restore her after a long time out of the water. Almost everything from the frames to the spars has been replaced, but her lines are now as true as they ever were on her launch in 1918.
